Ellaraine Lockie — author of the Silver Birch Press release COFFEE HOUSE CONFESSIONS — continues her poetry reading tour of New York City as a Saturn Series featured author at the elegant Revival bar in Manhattan. The event also features renowned poet Juanita Torrence-Thompson along with an open mic session.

ELLARAINE LOCKIE is a widely published and awarded poet, nonfiction book author and essayist.  Her recent work has been awarded the 2013 Poetry Prize from the Women’s National Book Association, Best Individual Collection from Purple Patch magazine in England for Stroking David’s Leg, the San Gabriel Poetry Festival Chapbook Contest Prize for Red for the Funeral and The Aurorean’s 2012 Chapbook Pick for Spring for Wild as in Familiar.  Ellaraine teaches poetry workshops and serves as Poetry Editor for the lifestyles magazine, Lilipoh.  At Revival, she’ll read from her newly released tenth chapbook, Coffee House Confessions (Silver Birch Press, 2013).


JUANITA TORRENCE-THOMPSON is a poet, speaker, columnist, instructor, actress, and Editor-in-Chief/Publisher of award-winning, international MOBIUS The Poetry Magazine and a Pushcart Prize nominee for poems in Breath-Life (Scopcraeft Press).
