ImageBar Bukowski in Amsterdam, The Netherlands — named for American author Charles Bukowski— is hostling monthly literary evenings featuring published and unpublished authors reading their work. The next scheduled literary event — which will take place on Monday, November 25th — will feature an established author and a half dozen up-and-coming writers, with a jazz trio from the Conservatory of Amsterdam playing American jazz standards.

Bar Bukowski has been called “the hottest place in the eastern part of Amsterdam for breakfast, lunch, and drinks.” The decor features Bukowski-inspired touches — including a typewriter light fixture — and includes Buk’s quotes on the menu. For more about this popular location, visit barbukowski.nl.
