To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Charles Bukowski’s passing, we are raffling off a copy of the author’s 1978 novel Women, along with a lucky 7 of diamonds Pabst beer cap found outside Buk’s favorite liquor store — the Pink Elephant at Western and Franklin in Los Angeles.

If you’d like your name entered into the drawing, just send an email with your contact info to silver@silverbirchpress.com with WOMEN in the subject line. We’ll pick a name from the hat on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Stay tuned for a week of giveaways as we count down to the 20th Anniversary of Hank’s departure and pay tribute to the great writer!

BACK STORY: I found the lucky Buk beer cap on Saturday, July 13, 2013, when I hopped onboard the Esotouric bus tour entitled, Haunts of a Dirty Old Man: Charles Bukowski’s Los Angeles.” The story of this fun and informative tour appears in the Silver Birch Press Bukowski Anthology.
